OUR TEAM:
Dr. Libbie Shell was born and raised in Whatcom County. She received her bachelor and master of sciences degrees from the University of Washington and lived and worked for several years in Seattle before returning to Bellingham in 2003. In March 2007, she received her Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Shell dispenses hearing aids on a full-time basis for the Hearing Health Clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Dr. Stephanie Fleck was born and raised in Bremerton, Washington. She received her bachelor and master of arts degrees from Western Washington University and started working for the Hearing Health Clinic upon graduation in 2004. In August 2007, she received her Doctorate of Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. Dr. Fleck works full time, splitting her time between diagnostic audiological testing at Bellingham Ear, Nose and Throat and dispensing hearing aids for the Hearing Health Clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Cara Thompson was born in Renton and raised in Issaquah, WA. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in 2006 with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Cara originally started at Bellingham Ear, Nose and Throat in medical records. She was recruited by the Hearing Health Clinic in March 2008 and is training as an audiology assistant. Her background in speech and hearing sciences has been invaluable. She is able to answer some hearing and hearing aid related questions quite easily. In addition to acting as a receptionist, Cara is able to clean, check and perform minor repairs in the office.
